Five talented students from drama schools across Virginia and North Carolina performed for a distinguished panel of judges on March 21, 2015 to determine who will represent the chapter at the Career Awards Competition to be held in May at the National NSAL Convention.

The five contestants with competition co-chairs Diana Freeman and
Nancy Brockman (left) and chapter president Corky Sablinsky (right).

Each presented short extracts from plays both comedic and serious, after which competition co-chair Nancy Brockman announced the first place winner as Carolyn Demanelis from the University of Virginia.  25 years old, Carolyn is an MFA candidate in the UVA Drama Department.
